Working with The Ohio State University and the Miami County Commissioners, the Miami County Extension is staffed by a team of professionals who are ready and willing to serve the community.

Brian Raison

Interim County Director

Extension Educator, Community Development

Experience with Extension:
For nearly 15 years, Brian has served OSU Extension in teaching, conducting programs and research, and doing community outreach and development,. His programs are designed to link business, government and community groups to achieve common goals. He also facilitates vision/mission and strategic action planning processes. He is currently working on several projects that can help local farmers sell more food to local consumers as a means of keeping money in the local economy. For fun, he volunteers with Reach Workcamps, a faith-based mission group doing housing rehabilitation around the country.

Beginning as an Agent-in-Training, Demetria Woods has worked with Extension since 1994. Demetria’s education and experience bring depth and richness to 4-H in Miami County.

As a 4-H member for 10 years, Tim Fine likes to work with people in the agricultural community of Miami County. He especially enjoys bringing the research and information that The Ohio State University provides to the local level, where it can be of great benefit.

Jamie M. Seger

Experience with Extension:

Jamie was a Miami County 4-H member for nearly 9 years and served as secretary, vice president, and president of her club. She has lived in Miami County for over 25 years and thoroughly enjoys getting out and working within the community. She views Extension as the local public's "front door" to The Ohio State University.

My husband, Alan, and I reside in Tipp City and have two children - Marissa and Jacob. Lisa Goodall has lived in Miami County for nearly 40 years. Her knowledge of the communities within the county and her relationships with residents are a valuable asset for the Extension.

I have a B.S. in Communication, and have taken classes in dietetics at Sinclair Community College. I am married and have 3 sons.
