On April 30, Ohio State University Extension will host a program to educate produce growers to reduce microbial contamination on fruit and vegetables.
The program, which covers Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), will be held 9 am – 12 pm at the YWCA Piqua, 418 N Wayne St, Piqua, Oh 45356. Pre-registration is required and is $20 per person. Participants will receive a resource workbook, handouts and a certificate of participation as verification for their customers that the farm operator has received the training.
