  1. Dining with Diabetes

    Dining with Diabetes is a cooking school and nutrition education program designed for people with prediabetes, diabetes and their family members or caregivers.  Or anyone else looking to make a healthy change in their diet!

    The series of four online classes will help you learn healthy techniques to manage diabetes and tips to use in your own kitchen.  The program includes a kit with ingredients and recipes to make diabetes friendly recipes at home.

  2. GROBucks

    Join us for our new monthly food series, GROBucks.  Extension staff will cover what you can start early, transplanting seedlings, specialized fertilizer for young plants, how to use soil temperature, and strategies for spring weed control. Then, we’ll show you how to utilize spring produce in some unique ways in cooking, demonstrate preparing foods, and share recipes for you to try at home.  For details, please visit: .

  3. Find Your Spark!

    There are more than 200 projects in the Ohio 4-H Family Guide.  You can find your spark in everything from archery to computers, genealogy to money management, pigs to weather.

    Effective Monday, January 18, 2021, the Miami County Extension Office will be open on Wednesdays and Thursdays 8:30 am to 4 pm by appointment only. Also, the staff will continue to telework and are available through email.     We’re launching a trip to Mars Base Camp and want to help you get there! The 2020 4-H STEM Challenge explores sending a mission to Mars and what it takes to sustain life in space. The Mars Base Camp kit includes activities that use STEM skills like mechanical engineering, physics, computer science, and agriculture.
